Firstday celebration
From this day I will no longer celebrate my birthday, not that I don't appreciate the birth or my mom. I want to celebrate another day - my first day.
I want to call it the first day. The celebration is therefore called Firstday celebration.
The first day in the existence of this identity - Stefan Tunedal, is with the conception, the day when life begun for this body, the identity which I control at this moment in time.
There is careful documentation of when birth took place. First day is not often documented. I therefore need to guess the day of conception. I don't think this matters much. It's more a matter of principal and taking a stand.
Myself, I was born on March 5th, 1959. Counting backwards nine months I arrive at June 5th, 1958.
My 50th birthday is on March 5th 2009. I will not celebrate that day. Instead I will celebrate my Firstday. It will be on June 5th, 2008.
Not one person need to get confused because of this. People have been celebrating birthdays since they were small and for many this has become a stable point in a troubled existence. My birthday will stay the same. The difference is that I will celebrate my Firstday.
Three cheers!
Tunedal
