Why exhibit?

If you can bare the thought of investing money and time, and a lot of effort in the creation of an exhibit and then find that people don't show up, then you can exhibit, but not unless you can really bare that thought.

The show

For me to meet people coming to my exhibition is probably the best thing about being a painter.  When I started to exhibit I thought I could do no more than one show a year. Now I wouldn't be satisfied unless I did at least two.
